Following the GEALAN Theatre Group’s explosive finale, Managing Director Thomas Fickenscher opened the 28th traditional GEALAN Christmas party in the festively decorated ATSV Oberkotzau hall. Over 350 active and former employees including members of the group’s partners from Aš in the Czech Republic accepted their invitations to the event.
“We see your contributions and we value you greatly,”
said the Managing Director as he opened his speech. He thanked the Theatre Group, the honorary and volunteer helpers from ATSV Oberkotzau and GEALAN’s own company band along with the company’s employees.
2016 in review
“We acquired all of the projects and new orders planned in 2015 and then some. We were able to sow the seeds we planted years ago.”
Investment in the future - a new jewel
“We created a new project space at the former Jackstätt site, which is now buzzing with activity. And this spring the outdoor landscaping will also be in full bloom.
A good 69 colleagues began working here in 2016.
The office we recently opened in Munich and the increased number of machines are further expansions.
‘GEALAN comes together - by employees for employees’ is great for people here, particularly for effectively integrating new colleagues,” explains Thomas Fickenscher. The team organized a number of outstanding projects including the Company Run, Geocaching, the Fan Zone and many more.
Revenues jumped from 67 million to 74 million, we are already constructing 300 new moulds and the associated project orders will be great challenges for Thomas Fickenscher and his team. “We want to master this surge in orders and transform it into a wave of success. So be sure to take some time to relax and recharge during the holidays.”
Nine trainees completed their training at GEALAN with excellent marks.
Among the celebrants was Gerhard Laubmann, who has been with the company for 30 years (third from left).
