Time for the GEALAN project space topping out ceremony!Oberkotzau, 01/05/2016, Claudia Gronwald, PR and Marketing
The topping out ceremony marked an important milestone for GEALAN Formteile in the construction of the company’s project space in Oberkotzau. The shell of the building and roof structure are complete.
“Our new project space is no longer topless!” says a proud Katharina Eckl, project coordinator, before quoting part of a saying as part of the raising ceremony – one that happens to fit perfectly to her company’s building complex:
“For good work in our career,
We built this structure here,
We need space for administration,
For employees with dedication,
Who keep contact with many a client –
Regardless where the assignment…“
Thomas Fickenscher, Managing Partner and Managing Director, adds:
“We are growing – constantly. More projects and a rising number of orders received mean more employees and increasing space requirements This is why we decided to transform our Hofer Straße 70 property into a project space.”
The structure of our new project space now stands on the former site of Jackstädt GmbH & Co. KG, where the company produced mustard, horseradish and canned vegetables (known under the Siebenstern brand) and had its administrative offices. The exterior façade will later feature elegant shades of grey; the interior will surprise guests with its modern equipment, generous proportions and the open space furnishing concept.
Building also means shaping the future, which is why the space was constructed to meet the latest energy standards and keep up with future standards.
Katharina Eckl is optimistic that her project will be complete by the beginning of September as planned: “We are making good time and are pleased that we were able to locally source the construction work.” The injection moulding company will gain an additional 800 sqm of
office space and additional social areas thanks to the project. 85 employees will carry out their daily work activities there.
The company is currently investing 1.5 million euros in the project.
GEALAN, headquartered in Oberkotzau, forecasts revenues of approx. 74 million euros for 2016 and currently employs 593 people.
