Oberkotzau, 31/07/2017, Mona Wunschel, PR and Marketing based on information provided by Henning Gruschwitz, Assistant to the Management.
15 international students visited GEALAN Formteile on 28 July as part of the Hof University of Applied Sciences Summer School programme.
The English-language course provides a comprehensive overview of Supply Chain Management and covers the topics Lean Production and Production 4.0.
The Summer School combines lectures, practical examples and excursions and is rounded off by a varied cultural supporting programme.
The students and their accompanying professor, Dr. Werner, received a tour of the plant at GEALAN. They were very interested in material supply and asked a number of technical questions.
In the presentation that followed, Henning Gruschwitz, Assistant to the Management, discussed Industry 4.0 – he explained what the term meant in general and which methods where already in place at GEALAN and which would be implemented in the future.
Here as well, students were keenly interested and asked numerous questions.
GEALAN is pleased to contribute to the Hof University of Applied Sciences Summer School programme and warmly thanks all of the students for their visit.
